I’m Aspasia Anifantaki, and my passion for working with natural materials and crafting handmade products led me to create my new brand, Anifantou.
As a Product and Systems Design Engineer with many years of experience in designing and producing wooden products, I bring together creativity and craftsmanship in every piece I make.

My surname itself, reflects my roots in a family with a rich tradition in weaving. Perhaps that’s what inspired me to express myself through the combination of different materials, eventually leading me to create distinctive bags filled with dreams and stories.

THE MATERIALS I USE

In my workshop, I use cork, wood, and fabric to craft unique bags just for you.
Cork fabric is a high-quality, natural textile made from thin shavings of cork harvested directly from the bark of the oak tree. A large part of the production process is done by hand.

Cork fabric is as durable as leather and as flexible as fabric. This material is eco-friendly, hypoallergenic, water-resistant, easy to clean, and long-lasting. Its innovative characteristics make it truly unique and original.

Natural: Sourced directly from the bark of the oak tree.

Eco-Friendly: The cork oak has the remarkable ability to regenerate its bark, allowing the cork to be harvested without harming the tree.

Durable: Its chemical and physical structure provides exceptional resistance to wear and tear.

Hypoallergenic: Thanks to its extremely low absorption of surface dust, cork is immune to the growth of microorganisms like dust mites.
